A St. Louis native, Tomcat has lived all over the country, from the alleys of New Orleans to the streets of Chicago, and has made a point of being at home no matter where he is. With a history in radio, Tomcat has been recording and editing since he was a young man. As a teenager, he began a career in stand-up comedy and played shows from Indianapolis to San Diego for many years. A student of IUPUI and Broadcast Center, Tomcat is always looking to learn a few things. Film editor, writer, comedian, musician and Master of Ceremonies, Tomcat is a Jack of all Trades... Master of None.

Sweet V hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she studied radio broadcasting at Point Park University. Her first radio experiences include being on-air at her college radio station and working as a board operator for CBS Radio in Pittsburgh. Her interest in radio stemmed from a love of music and many compliments on her voice. She thought, "How could I merge the two?" and ta-da! She's really happy to play some music that will get you through your work day!

Sloppy Joe

Sloppy Joe hails from the Nations Capital, Washington DC. It was while at college he decided radio was his calling. His first radio job was at Oldies 100 in Washington DC, working in promotions. He moved from promotions to producer for Goldy’s Rock n’ Roll show. After four years, Joe moved to the green mountain state of Vermont and Classic Rock 101, The Fox, which gave him his own show. He then moved on to a radio job in Cedar Rapids, Iowa before returning to DC. In fact, he was back in DC contemplating his retirement from radio when he got a call from The Radio Group and Classic Hits 106.

Dog hails from Princeton, but currently resides in Spring Valley with his wife, Courtney and daughters, Laney and Madeline. Dog has been with The Radio Group for over 10 years. In fact, he was working as a waiter at a local restaurant when the station owner approached him about a career in radio. The rest is history. In his spare time, he enjoys adventure racing.
The Wizzard has been playing your favorites every Saturday night for 25 years. That's right... the Wizzard and his Juke Joint hit the airwaves 25 years ago, and Wizzard celebrated one of the longest tenures in FM radio in the state.

Colin joins the Studstill Media News Team from AM 1050 WLIP and 95 WIIL Rock, and now calls Streator home. A native of Cary, Illinois, Colin graduated from the University of Kansas, with a degree in broadcast communications, and the Illinois Center for Broadcasting. The middle of three children, Colin spends his spare time working out and playing various sports. He is also a pop culture junkie and can recite lines from the entire Ghost Busters movie.
Originally from South Bend, Indiana, Nick now calls Streator home. He is a graduate of the Illinois Center for Broadcasting in Lombard with a degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting with advanced instruction in Radio and Television Production. Studstill Media is Nick's first full-time job out of college. Before WSPL, Nick was a public address announcer at the University of Notre Dame for two years as the voice of Irish women's volleyball, as well as working within men's ice hockey, baseball, softball, and men's and women's lacrosse, and has been doing public address for nine years since he was a freshman in high school. He continues that practice today as the voice of Lady Bulldogs volleyball at Streator Township High School. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging with friends, cosplaying, going to anime conventions, and a fine cigar. A fan of all Chicago sports, except the White Sox and hockey, where his allegiance lies with the Boston Bruins.
