SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health Tuesday announced 2,219 new cases of COVID-19 in Illinois, including 144 additional deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 48,102 cases, including 2,125 deaths, in 96 counties in Illinois. Within the past 24 hours, laboratories have processed 14,561 specimens for a total of 242,189.
