4 Vehicle Accident Thursday On Spring Valley Bridge

SPRING VALLEY – Two people were injured in a four vehicle crash before 6 a.m. on the new Spring Valley Bridge over the Illinois River. Spring Valley Fire and Police responded to scene and had it cleared up in 45 minutes.
Authorities remind those using the bridge that the area is still a construction zone and the speed limit is 35 mph. A three vehicle accident on the bridge injured six on Tuesday.
The Route 89 Bridge opened to traffic on Monday.
