SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health said on Sunday that 4,062 new cases of coronavirus have been reported. The state also said that 24 people died of the virus in the past 24 hours. Saturday, the state reported over 6,100 new cases, the most of any other state in the country.
