OTTAWA- The LaSalle County Health Department is reporting 41 new cases of COVID-19 in the area on Monday. This brings the total number of cases in the county to 9545. There were zero new deaths to report, however, since the pandemic began there have been 247 reported deaths attributed to the novel coronavirus. LaSalle County and all of Region 2 moved into Tier 1 mitigation on Sunday.
