66 new COVID-19 cases, two deaths in Livingston County


 
PONTIAC  – Sixty-six residents of Livingston County have tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus disease). Sadly, two more residents have also died due to complications related to COVID-19. The individuals included a male and female in their 80s. Livingston County Health Department (LCHD) officials were notified of the new COVID-19 cases and deaths between February 9-17, 2021 in accordance with state and local public health protocol.
As of February 17, 2021, the LCHD has received 72,908 COVID-19 test results. Of that, 4,076 COVID-19 tests have been positive, 68,832 tests were negative, 3,950 of the previously reported cases have been removed from isolation, 52 cases remain active, and, sadly, 74 cases have resulted in death due to complications related to COVID-19.
