SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health announced on Saturday that 975 Illinoisans tested positive for Coronavirus in the past 24 hours. Health Officials also announced 72 new deaths, including one in DeKalb County. The deaths range from a Cook County teenager to 15 people in their 90’s from counties across the state. Earlier Saturday afternoon, the LaSalle County Health Department announced no additional cases, leaving the county wide confirmed count at 160 since the pandemic arrived in March.
