LASALLE – The Aden Lamps Foundation 8th Annual 5K run/walk will be virtual this year. It will begin the week of September 5th through September 12th and participants can choose to complete the walk/run at their location of choice. Registration fee for adults is $20 and registration is open until September 12th. The cost for children ages 14 and under is $15. The fee includes a t-shirt for all ages and all children age 7 and under will receive a participation medal. There will be 2 male/female awards per age group for those who submit their time and qualify for an award. There will also have raffle baskets on our website during that same week. T-shirts and medals will be mailed or delivered with no contact delivery. The Aden Lamps Foundation helps spread awareness for SUID (Sudden Unexpected Infant Deaths). The Foundation was started in 2014 by Aden’s mother, Ashley Lamps, and since the inception, the foundation has been able to purchase 7,244 sleep sacks and over 5,000 safe sleep board books, which are then donated to IVCH, St. Margaret’s Hospital, OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center, La Salle County WIC, and other local organizations.
