OGLESBY – The latest in agriculture technology was provided to students at Illinois Valley Community College thanks to a donation from a Bureau County company. Climate Fieldview and Nutrien donated $3,500 in precision ag equipment, including an Apple iPad, wiring harness, and Climate FieldView’s starter kit, digital ag platform and a Bluetooth-enabled data collection device. Students will use those devices as part of instructor Willard Mott’s Introduction to Precision Agriculture class.
