PERU – Peru City Council members approved an amendment to an ordinance that would allow theaters to sell alcohol. Mayor Scott Harl said he was asked about this liquor license a few weeks ago, but the business has yet to apply. He noted that there is a growing trend with movie theaters selling food and alcohol, and that one could assume it is coming to Peru. The theater liquor license costs $500 a year.
