SPRING VALLEY – Spring Valley authorized an agreement with Ameren’s energy efficient program to install LED lights to city buildings. According to finance chairmen Mike Herrmann, the total cost of the project would be just over $ 13,000 but the expected energy saving should recoup costs in 15 months time. Installations will be done at the fire and street departments, Kirby Park, Spring Valley pool and water tower. The city is also looking into costs for new greeting signs.
