LASALLE – Multiple City council meetings are planned this Tuesday at 6:30 PM with purpose of passing ordinances allowing each city the right to declare a state of emergency and ensure that emergency protocols are in place. The Cities of La Salle, Peru, Utica, Oglesby and Spring Valley all will hold sessions Tuesday night. They say a coordinated response effort has been discussed amongst the mayors, first responders, the local hospitals and health departments.
