Baby’s Condition Improves After 3 Vehicle Collision

DIXON – A woman and her 1 year-old daughter were injured in the three vehicle collision in Dixon on Friday. 22-year-old Tiffany Koehler is in critical condition after a semi struck her vehicle, pushed it into the westbound traffic where a pickup then struck the vehicle. Her 1-year-old daughter was transported to Mercy Health in Rockford and as of Sunday, her condition has improved to the point where she was breathing on her own, eating and responding normally. Koehler was transported to OSF in Rockford and remains in critical condition. The eastbound semi driver was Eugene Cook, 63 years old from Waterloo Wisconsin was not injured. The westbound pickup was driven by Dustin Kibble, 36 years old, from Dixon was also not injured.
