MORRIS – Pretty soon Pebbles the bison will have a companion at Buffalo Rock State Park. 14-year-old Pebbles has been living alone since her mother Holly’s passing in September. Site Superintendent Daniel Bell for the Illinois & Michigan Canal State Trail says he’s picking up a 2-year-old female from the Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie near Wilmington and transporting her to Buffalo Rock State Park on Thursday morning.
