Burglaries, Vandalism Reported in Streator

STREATOR – Garages and homes were targeted by apparent burglars Tuesday in Streator. The Streator Police department took a number of reports of items being missing, including a home burglary in the 400 block of Bluff Street. A bicycle was reportedly taken from an unlocked garage in the 300 block of West Boys Street, vehicles were entered and items taken in the 1100 block of Van Buren Street, and a garage was entered and rummaged through in the 200 block of Boys Street. Also, another vehicle was reported damaged by spray paint in the 600 block of North Everett Street.
