Cancer Stricken Teen Gets Support From Celebrities

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (AP) — The mother of a teenage boy fighting advanced bone cancer says words can’t express how her son appreciates what two of his heroes did for him. Jonathan Morales was visited by his favorite rapper, Joyner Lucas. The musician stopped by at Staten Island University Hospital in New York to visit the 14-year-old patient. Lucas gave him a necklace and called him “an inspiration.” The same week, Jonathan enjoyed a private screening of his favorite movie, “Avengers: Endgame” — and a video message from Robert Downey Jr., who played Iron Man. In the clip, Downey asked the boy if he liked the movie — and asked him to send a video back.
