CEDAR POINT – A fire truck that previously belonged to a small community in western New York State will soon be in service in a village in LaSalle County. The Cedar Point Fire Department announced this week that Chief Haeffner, Assistant Chief Ballerini and Captain Margis traveled to East Bloomfield, New York to drive the truck back. The East Bloomfield Fire District sold surplus Engine 711 to the department after 23 years of service in that community.
