LASALLE – Monday afternoon authorities executed a search warrant in LaSalle and took a Chicago man into custody on Cocaine Charges. According to the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team, they, along with the LaSalle Police, Peru Special Investigation Unit, and LaSalle County Tactical Team, entered a home in the 600 block of Todd Street. Taken into custody was 26-year-old Anthony “Chief” McMullen. Authorities say McMullen allegedly sold purported cocaine to agents on multiple occasions. The search also reportedly found additional purported cocaine and manufacturing materials. He was taken to the LaSalle County Jail and is being held on $1,000,000 bond for two charges of possession with intent to deliver.
