LASALLE – A Chicago man faces charges for burglary to a motor vehicle after an attempt to hotwire a LaSalle-Peru High School driver’s education vehicle.
According to the LaSalle Police Department, 18-year-old Ronnie L. Denson of Englewood in Chicago faces charges for the Tuesday incident where he allegedly forced entry to a drivers-ed vehicle at LaSalle-Peru Township High School. Police say that based on a school resource officer’s initial investigation it was determined Denson had attempted to hotwire the vehicle and steal it. On Thursday, Denson was arrested by the LaSalle Police Department’s Patrol Division on a Cook County Juvenile Arrest Warrant for Armed Robbery.
