Cocaine and Heroin Charges Face Two After TRIDENT Raid

STREATOR – Tuesday evening two people were arrested in Streator after a Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team investigation. According to Tri-Dent, they, along with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence in the 1400 block of South Cleveland Street and took a man and woman into custody.
An Indiana man, 33-year-old Anthony M. Cantu of Hammond, was charged with a Class X Felony after an investigation where he allegedly delivered over 15 grams of purported heroin to agents. He was taken to the LaSalle County Jail with bond set at $2,000,000. Also arrested was 23-year-old Taylor M. Pruitt of Streator, who was charged with two counts of unlawful delivery after allegedly delivering purported cocaine to agents on two occasions. She is being held on a $1,000,000 bond at the LaSalle County Jail.
