DIXON – Construction work on I-39 at Beemerville Road, 3 miles south of US Route 30, will begin on Wednesday, weather permitting. The project consists of cleaning and painting the steel on the structure carrying Beemerville Road over I-39. lane closures will be required for I-39 northbound and southbound for approximately one month. Traffic on Beemerville Road will not be affected by the work.Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area or consider alternative routes.
