EARLVILLE – A number of incidents involving vandalism have been reported at an Earlville park over the past few weeks. Mayor Mark Actis said that recently someone drove into Dodge Park and did donuts, destroying portions of the lawn. The Earlville Police Department said they would begin issuing trespassing citations if necessary, and that the gazebo and the basketball courts would be temporarily closed. Other damage has been reported as well, including broken benches and garbage cans. Earlville Police Chief Darin Crask did note that they are in the process of upgrading the security camera system throughout the park.  On Friday morning it was announced that arrests have been made and that the park will be fully re-opened.
