PARK FOREST – The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team say that a person they were seeking for alleged drug offenses was taken into custody in Cook County. They reported that around 11 AM Thursday the US Marshalls and the Cook County SHeriff’s Fugitive Unit took 39-year-old Paree D. Jones of Park Forrest into custody. Authorities say that during an investigation into drug sales in the Peru area, Jones delivered less than one gram of purported cocain to TRIDENT. He is being held at the Cook County Jail on a $500,000 bond pending extradition to LaSalle County.
