STREATOR – A Tuesday morning hit and run accident is being investigated by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office three miles North of Streator. In a release Thursday, they state a 49-year-old man from Streator reported that before 10:00 a.m. he was traveling North on US Route 23 when an unknown vehicle traveling south crossed over into his lane and struck the rear of his vehicle. No injuries were reported and the incident remains under investigation.
