OTTAWA – LaSalle County’s COVID-19 case and death average continues to trend low, with numbers comparable to this time last year. On Friday, the LaSalle County Health Department reported 12 coronavirus cases, with zero deaths in their weekly update. According to Studstill Media data, the 7-day death and case averages are fairing at its lowest since the start of the year, with death averages at 0% and case averages at 1.7%. There have been over 12,000 positive cases in the county.
