ARLINGTON – The railroad has announced that a busy crossing in Bureau County will be closed for a week starting July 9th for repairs. BNSF states that Route 89 in Arlington will be detoured around the closure for crossing upgrades and repairs. Signs will be posted when the upgrade is set to begin, weather permitting.
Northbound traffic will go west on I-80 to Rt26, then south on Rt26 to Rt34, then east on Rt34 back to Rt89. Southbound traffic will go west on Rt34 to Rt26, then north on Rt26 to I-80, then east on I-80 back to Rt89.
