DEKALB – The Illinois Department of Public Health announced on Saturday that DeKalb County has its first case of COVID-19, the coronavirus that is part of the ongoing worldwide pandemic. No specific details were released on the person who was tested positive. Saturday evening marked the first day of Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker’s “Stay at Home” order, where citizens were asked to avoid large groups and unnecessary travel.
