KINGSTON – A DeKalb County man is dead after a single vehicle crash in the early morning hours of Friday. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office say that 35-year-old Chaz D. Tischhauer of Kingston was pronounced dead at the scene after being ejected during the rollover crash. Authorities say Tischhauer was westbound on Melms Road at North State Road where he allegedly disregarded the stop sign at a high rate of speed. The vehicle then went airborne, lost control, then struck a utility pole before rolling a number of times. The crash is still under investigation.
