DeKalb Police seek man charged with First Degree Murder

DEKALB – The DeKalb Police Department are on the lookout for a man who was allegedly involved in a shooting that left one man dead on the 4th of July.   They say that after an investigation, they believe that 22-year-old Esaiah Escamilla of Aurora shot and killed 29-year-old Chrishun Keeler-Tyus in the 900 Block of South 4th Street.  Escamilla is not in custody, but a 26-year-old man from DeKalb, Emanuel Edwards, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder for allegedly being the driver of the vehicle where the shots originated from.  The investigation is ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact the city of DeKalb police department.
