PERU – Hundreds of swimmers from across northern Illinois will be attending the yearly district meet at the Illinois Valley YMCA this coming weekend. Competitors from age 4 to 21 will be swimming in dozens of events from March 4th – March 6th. Due to the large number of participants, parking restrictions will be in place and the gyms will be closed. The fitness center will remain open. The Illinois Valley Dolphins, the host club, currently has 6 national qualifiers.
