PONTIAC – A man from Dwight is dead after a crash Saturday in Livingston County. The Illinois State Police say around 4 PM at US Route 66 and East 1830 North Road an SUV driven by a 20-year-old Pontiac man allegedly failed to stop at the intersection striking a motorcycle. The 77-year-old man from Dwight who was on the motorcycle died from his injuries. His identification is being withheld pending family notification. The crash is under investigation by the Illinois State Police and Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
