Earlville Pair Arrested on Heroin Charges

EARLVILLE – An investigation into heroin sales in Northern LaSalle County led to two arrests on Thursday. According to the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team, an investigation involving multiple departments culminated in arrests of two persons who had been allegedly distributing heroin. Arrested were 28-year-old David W. Jaco and 30-year-old Breana L. Leppert, both of Earlville. They were taken into custody in the 1300 block of North Main Street in Sandwich, with the assistance of the the Sandwich Police, the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office, and the Illinois State Police. Jaco is being held on a one million dollars bond for two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. Leppert is being held on a $500,000 bond for one count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. Both were taken to the LaSalle County Jail.
