SHERIDAN – One person has died after a single vehicle crash Friday afternoon near Sheridan. The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office say they were called around 4:45 PM to N 4201st Road near East 27th Road for a vehicle located in a creek. Authorities say the vehicle was traveling south when for unknown reasons they lost control, struck a guard rail, then flipped onto their roof into Roods Creek. The accident is still under investigation by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office and LaSalle County Coroner’s Office. The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
