Fight at Rockford Football Game, Coach Displayed Gun

ROCKFORD – Two men are in custody after a fight in Rockford at the conclusion of a football game where one coach allegedly displayed a gun. On Saturday afternoon Rockford Police responded to a call for a large fight at Rockford Lutheran High School. Upon arrival, they found that coaches from a Calumet City football team were involved in an argument with a team from Rockford. No students were involved in the incident, but according to Rockford Police two coaches for the Calumet City team, 43-year-old Terrance Morris and 39-year-old Devorah Clark, both of Indiana, were charged with Mob Action. Morris was charged additionally with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Clark with Unlawful Use of a Weapon plus Resisting Arrest. Both men remain in the Winnebago County Jail. No injuries were reported and the incident is still under investigation.
