First installment of real estate taxes for LaSalle County residents due Thursday

OTTAWA – The first installment of real estate taxes for LaSalle County residents will be due on Thursday. The remaining balance will be due on September 7th. Payment can be made by phone, online at LaSalleCountyTreasurer.com, local banks, by mail, or at the drop box located outside the governmental complex on East Etna Road in Ottawa. The LaSalle County treasurer warns that Illinois Statute requires a 1 ½ % per month delinquency penalty beginning the day after the due date, Friday July 8th.
