Freezing Rain, Ice and Heavy Snow on the way

OTTAWA – Thursday could be messy across North Central Illinois as a winter storm bringing ice and heavy snow moves across the Midwest. The National Weather Service have issued a Winter Storm Warning that goes into effect at 3 AM Thursday and continues until 9 PM that night. Freezing rain should make way for snow of up to 7″ in areas and winds gusting as high as 40 mph
