DEER GROVE – A GoFundMe account was created to support the family of a Deer Grove man who was electrocuted last week. 48-year-old Shannon Pierceson was working on an irrigator in a field in Deer Grove last week Wednesday when he was electrocuted. He was taken to CGH Medical Center in nearby Sterling, where he was pronounced dead. The family is asking to help raise up to $5,000 for funeral costs.
