OGLESBY – Illinois Valley Community College’s Giving Day overflowed with generosity and slime. The annual fundraiser hosted on Wednesday featured a series of relay races for students and ended with faculty covered in slime. Director of Admissions Quentin Overock and Professor Kyle Fogle were bid upon by students and staff to be covered in green gooey goop. Together, the two raised $200 dollars to be put towards student scholarships. All in all, Giving Day was IVCC’s largest, raising slightly over their goal of $25,000.
