Heroin Arrests Made by Tri-Dent on Monday

OGLESBY – Two men are in the LaSalle County Jail after a controlled purchase operation by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team.  On Monday afternoon they,  along with the LaSalle Police were operating in the 300 block of Civic Road in LaSalle and began an investigation into purported drug sales.  Tri-Dent allegedly purchased over one gram of purported heroin from 31-year-old Thore R. Pastorik of Marseilles and 32-year-old Adam F. Bennett of Peru.   Following the purchase the pair was stopped by LaSalle Police, who say that prior to the stop they allegedly threw objects out of the window that authorities say was additional heroin weighing over six grams.  Pastorik and Bennett were each charged with a Class 1 Unlawful Delivery Felony and were taken to the LaSalle County Jail with bond yet to be set.
