LASALLE – The right lane of I-39 southbound near mile post 61, two miles north of I-80 near La Salle has buckled and is closed to traffic, according to Illinois State Police District 17. Police say the left lane remains open. Use caution when approaching the area.
This is the second time I-39 has experienced damage in two days. Yesterday, I-39 south of I-80 buckled.
