IDPH announces over 800 new COVID-19 cases

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 828 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, with 30 additional deaths. The IDPH is currently reporting 144,013 cases with 6,951 deaths in 101 counties in Illinois. The IDPH and Gov. JB Pritzker continue to stress the importance of wearing cloth face masks, especially over the Fourth of July weekend.
