OTTAWA – Repairs to Illinois 178 bridge crossing the Vermillion River will begin on Thursday, April 28th. According to the Illinois Department of Transportation, work will consist of deck patching, installing a latex overlay, and substructure repairs. Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area and be prepared for slow and stopped traffic, The project is scheduled to be completed by fall.
