SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Deparement of Public Health says 15 people in the state were reported to have died from Covid-19 on Sunday. According to the department, that’s the fewest deaths since March 30th shortly after the pandemic was declared. The state also says that 646 new infections were reported in the past 24 hours. The LaSalle County Health Department on Sunday reported no new cases in the county, keeping the total number to have contracted the virus at 205.
