OGLESBY – Illinois Valley Community College is taking precautions to guard against coronavirus transmission and most instructors are prepared to offer instruction online if necessary, President Jerry Corcoran informed board members Thursday. The school will be monitoring the situation throughout campus and the district, plus begin making plans for moving courses online using Blackboard if needed. The second eight weeks of the spring semester begin next week.
