LaSalle County now at warning level for COVID-19

OTTAWA – The Illinois Department of Public Health announced that LaSalle County is considered to be at a warning level for COVID-19. The IDPH reported that a county enters a warning level when two or more COVID-19 risk indicators increase. They state that the county has seen outbreaks associated with large gatherings, an increase in cases among people younger than 30, young people attending bars and other social events, and inconsistencies with mask requirements. The health department reported that Adams, Peoria, and Randolph county were also at a warning level.
