OTTAWA – A male in his 50’s is the latest LaSalle County coronavirus related death. The LaSalle County Health Department reported the death, the 55th in the county, as well as 22 new confirmed cases on Friday. The LCHD also stated that 8 more individuals have recovered from coronavirus in the county, with 1575 total cases since the start of the pandemic and 1005 of those now recovered. Statewide, the Illinois Department of Public Health confirmed 2,120 new cases and 20 additional deaths.
