OTTAWA – LaSalle County’s Naloxone Program saved 37 lives in 2019. According to the program’s annual report, nearly 62 doses of Narcan Nasal Spray were used by law enforcement in 37 overdose response incidents, less than the 100 doses in 54 incidents the year before. Zero deaths were also reported to the program by partner agencies. Currently, there are 18 departments enrolled in the program with a total of 43 new individuals trained throughout the county.
