LaSalle man held on million dollar bond for cocaine charge

LASALLE – A LaSalle man is in custody after a TRI-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team investigation into cocaine distribution. On Tuesday night, LaSalle County Sheriffs Deputies arrested 27-year-old Jeremy A. Gossett of LaSalle on a warrant for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver and Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance. In February, LaSalle Police allegedly found Gossett in possession of more than fifteen grams of a substance containing purported cocaine.  During a separate investigation,  conducted by TRI-Dent, they say Gossett allegedly delivered approximately five grams of a substance containing purported cocaine to agents. He was taken to the LaSalle County Jail and is being held on a $1,000,000 bond.

TRI-Dent consists of LaSalle, Streator, Princeton, Oglesby, Ottawa, Spring Valley and Mendota Police Departments along with LaSalle, Bureau and Putnam County Sheriff’s Offices.
