LASALLE – Police are still investigating an incident where a person jumped off a bridge in LaSalle. The individual was on the Illinois Route 351 overpass and jumped onto Interstate 80 shortly after 1 a.m. on Thursday. Illinois State Police say the 28-year-old person from LaSalle sustained serious injuries and was transferred to another hospital by air. Authorities have not released the identity of the person and the incident remains under investigation.
