DIXON – The Lee Community Fire Department has donated a 3000-gallon tender to the Dalzell Fire Protection District. In a social media post, the Dalzell Fire Protection District expressed its appreciation for the donation, stating it’s their first-ever Tender. The 3,000-gallon apparatus will increase firefighters’ capabilities to assist not only with fires but mutual aid for area departments. The Dalzell Fire Protection District will be lettering the apparatus, training on it, and adding equipment in the coming weeks.
